The Executive board met in Moncton on August 19thand 20th. This was the monthly Executive Board meeting to take care of the affairs of the local.

This meeting consists of:

Maritimes Paramedic Conference

This year the good folks of Prince Edward Island are hosting the second annual Maritimes Paramedic Conference. This year the Union Executives of NB, NS, and PEI will come together to discuss the current issues that affect us all.  Where Medavie is the managing group for the Maritimes, this venue provides us an invaluable opportunity.

CUPE 4848 Annual General Conference

Planning is well underway for the 12thAnnual General Convention which will be hosted by the dedicated people of the Crowne Plaza Moncton Downtown on October 1stand 2nd, 2019. All 4848 members are welcome and encouraged to attend. You can register at 4848.cupe.ca.

This year there will be 12 elections:

The next Labour Management meeting has been scheduled for September 20th, 2019 In Moncton. If you have any issues you would like brought forward,please contact your union representative.

Retention/Recruitment

There is currently a document prepared on a wage adjustment and working conditions. Once presented to government, it will be released for general review.

MCMC On-line Uniforms

ANB is still working on this and is anticipating it to be on-line for September.
